Greetings friends and prayer partners!

Sorry it's been so long since our last letter. Things were a bit crazy as I
wound down my involvement in Ukraine and made the transition back to America.
Thank you for all your prayers! We were able to get our team in place and they
are carrying on the ministry now without us. That is a great blessing for me to
see. Please continue to keep our church members in prayer. Even though they've
stepped up and really shouldered these responsibilities, that's just the first
step. They need to keep moving forward now…and that is often the hardest part.
The devil often tries to use discouragement, relationship problems,
misunderstanding/miscommunication and distractions of various kinds to disrupt
the flow of what God is doing. So please, pray that God would help our church
members to avoid those pitfalls and remain faithful throughout the next several
months while we are here, apart from them.

I believe that God intends to use this time to really help all of them grow in
their walk with Him and their dependence on Him. So I'm excited to see what the
church will be like when we return. Thanks so much for your prayers.

Please continue to pray for our transition here in America. We do appreciate
your prayers. God is listening, we see that the kids are all doing well.
Josiah and Nate have adjusted and are getting involved in school, sport and
church activities already. Josiah was able to attend church camp, and then went
on an inner-city mission trip to Denver. We see how God has been working in his
life and are anxious to see how he will grow this year. We are blessed that God
has given both Josiah and Nate some good church friends. Such friends were so
important in my faith development, so that's a real answer to prayer also.
Hannah is also having fun and making friends every day. She's in VBS right now
and loves it. She is also getting ready to start ballet dancing at the end of
this month, so she's excited about that. She is our social bug. We went to see
some friends of hers the other day, only to find out they hadn't come home yet.
So she said, "Dad, it's ok, let's just go to that house [ pointing next door]
and make new friends." She's a character!

I am still looking for work to supplement our income while here. Life is
considerably more expensive here than it was (as I'm sure you've all noticed).
Since we need to pay bills both here and there (rent and ministry expenses are
continuing there) I thought it would be better to try to work for the 6 months
while we are here. It's been harder than I expected finding a job, however.
Few businesses are hiring "short-term" employees, and of those that are, no one
wants a worker that can't work Sundays. So please pray for God to open the
perfect place for me. Thanks.

We love you all and are looking forward to seeing many of you this summer and
fall. If you haven't heard from us when we will be in your area, please write
and tell us, so that we can let you know.
May God bless you all and thank you again for all your prayers!

In Christ,
Todd, Tammy, Josiah, Nate and Hannah
Please continue to pray for us as we still want to buy land soon and hope to
find a Ukrainian pastor to lead the church into the future. We also have an
upcoming family outreach later this month. Thanks so much for all your prayers.
We love you all and are looking forward to seeing you all this summer!

God bless,
Todd, Tammy, Josiah, Nate and Hannah
